At home natural family photography | Walton-on-Thames photographer

As a Walton-on-Thames photographer and mum, I am lucky enough to meet lots of other local parents and get to know them well over time. I met Emily through a friend a while back, and when she asked me to capture her newly-expanded family at this special time in their lives, I was delighted. Not only is she a smart and intelligent woman, she is also a good friend and a fantastic mother with a gorgeous family. At home natural family photography is a style I love, as it is a very authentic way to capture family life and true memories. Their favourite toys, comforters, an heirloom cradle, all of these things are so intrinsically linked to the memory of those early days. Days that quickly become months, then years, and we sometimes struggle to remember all of those little details.

Along with their son Thomas, Emily and Matt had just welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Edith, to their lovely family and a sense of joy was very much in the air. I have a feeling that Thomas will be a brilliant big brother! They loved their pictures and Emily sent the following note to me after seeing her gallery:

“THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH… for such beautiful photographs of our crazy little family! Matt and I are totally over the moon with them. Thank you so much 😊”

Here are a few highlights from our session, I’d love to hear your comments and thoughts!

Hello Friends

Welcome to my blog!

This is the best place to see how I capture your wedding from start to finish. The images featured are highlights only but they will give you a flavour of my style and approach to weddings. You can also see my family shoots, all of which take place in the great outdoors where children can run wild and free.

Pour yourself a glass of wine, put your feet up and enjoy the stories!
