  • Albert Bridge, Chelsea engagement session – London

    I’ll see you then
    As the dawn birds sing
On a cold and misty morning
    By the Albert Bridge
(Misty morning, Albert Bridge by The Pogues)

They walked across Albert Bridge on their first date.

For Tessa and John, there is a strong connection to this place and it plays a central part in their love story.

They have lived a stone’s throw away from it over the last few years, and have spent many happy moments sitting in cafes and getting to know each other in Battersea, Chelsea, and its surrounding areas. As they embark on the next chapter of their lives together, it seemed apt to give the backdrop to their romance a proper send off. Before the summer ends, they will celebrate their marriage in this part of London, then move to pastures anew for their second act.

Albert Bridge is one of the finest bridges on the river Thames; I find it very romantic, and I always think of that Pogues song.

We took a little stroll across it together one sweltering afternoon in June for a fun engagement session, and gave it one last kiss goodbye.

Looking forward to being your wedding photographer soon, Tessa and John!

  • Surrey family photography – Wisley Gardens

Surrey family photography – Wisley Gardens

Hi everyone, I wanted to show you this lovely Surrey family photography shoot I did recently.

One of my favourite places for weekend fun with the kids is RHS Wisley in Surrey.

Whether it is the   Butterflies in the Glasshouse, the Japanese-inspired gardens, or the endless variety of plants and blossom every season, our little boys are just so happy there. And with so much to discover and learn about nature, I’m just as interested as they are. It is one of the top family destinations in the area, and also a popular   Surrey wedding venue.

Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing some memories for this gorgeous family during a beautiful outdoor photo session there. Nick, Emma and their beautiful son are from Walton on Thames, and they are also regular visitors to Wisley, so it was a perfect location for some fun Surrey family photography.

I think you’ll agree, they are a pretty photogenic lot…

They loved the pictures from the shoot, and I was so happy to hear what they had to say:

Oh my gosh!!!! They are just such amazing photos. I truly love them which is weird because it’s us and it’s like saying ‘gosh don’t we look good’ but you’ve captured our family beautifully. I feel proud of us all looking at these photos.

Hope you enjoy the pictures, and please   get in touch if you would like to book a Surrey family photography session. You can choose a location that’s special to you, or embrace the beauty that is Wisley!
